For the Smerlis design competition, our team utilized advanced photogrammetry techniques and custom design scripts to create a data-driven approach for the project's development. By integrating photogrammetry, we captured precise site details, which informed our design process. We developed specialized scripts for path generation, optimizing the flow and accessibility throughout the space. Additionally, we employed algorithms to maximize the built area while conducting sun hours simulations to ensure optimal natural light for all structures. Our approach also included space syntax analysis, which facilitated the seamless integration of public spaces, enhancing connectivity and usability. This holistic design process allowed us to create a functional, sustainable, and community-focused solution.
